The CX-60 is part of the Mazda Premium strategy, representing the Japanese brand's new upscale product line. This SUV measures 4.745 mm in length, 1.890 mm in width, and 1.680 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2.870 mm. It incorporates the Kodo design language, featuring an upright front end, a large grille, and slender LED headlights. Its body proportions differ from other Mazda models sold in Vietnam due to a longitudinal engine layout, characterized by an extended hood and a cabin positioned further back.
The CX-60's cockpit features a minimalist design, with a horizontally expansive dashboard to enhance the sense of spaciousness. Mazda applies its Japanese Premium philosophy to the CX-60, utilizing materials such as Nappa leather, maple wood, and various handcrafted finishes. The company states that the stitching, material combinations, and lighting effects within the cabin draw inspiration from traditional Japanese craftsmanship.
Vehicle features include a 12,3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12,3-inch central infotainment display, a head-up display (HUD), a 12-speaker Bose sound system, wireless phone charging, a panoramic sunroof, and power-adjustable front seats with integrated cooling. The CX-60 also includes a driver personalization system that uses facial recognition to automatically adjust the seat, steering wheel, and rearview mirrors for each user.

The version sold in Vietnam is powered by a 3,3-liter e-Skyactiv G inline 6-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine combined with 48V mild-hybrid technology. This engine produces 280 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system.
The all-wheel-drive system prioritizes the rear axle for balanced weight distribution and a sportier driving experience. According to the manufacturer, the CX-60 has an average fuel consumption of approximately 8 liters per 100 km. The vehicle is equipped with the i-Activsense driver assistance technology suite, which includes numerous driver support features: adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, traffic jam assist, front cross traffic alert, a 360-degree camera, front and rear smart braking, a driver monitoring system, and distraction mitigation.
The Mazda CX-60 is distributed in Vietnam as a single 3.3 Turbo HEV AWD version, priced at 1.699 billion dong, with deliveries starting in October. Within Mazda's SUV lineup in Vietnam, the CX-60 is positioned above the CX-5 and below the CX-90. This model targets customers seeking a D-segment SUV with a more premium driving experience than mainstream vehicles.
