Japanese automaker Mitsubishi has launched the Triton Championship Edition in Malaysia. This special edition draws inspiration from the company's victory at the 2025 Asia Cross Country Rally (AXCR). The Triton Championship Edition is available in two variants: the Triton Athlete and Triton Premium.

The Triton Athlete Championship Edition is limited to 150 units and features a Jet Black Mica exterior with distinctive body decorations. It is equipped with off-road tires, enhancing both its appearance and off-road performance. This variant also includes a 9-inch infotainment touchscreen (up from the standard 7-inch), a 360-degree camera system, and front headrests embossed with the AXCR champion logo. Powering this model is a 2.4-liter diesel engine delivering 201 horsepower and 470 Nm of peak torque.

The Triton Premium Championship Edition is limited to 120 units and comes in a White Diamond exterior. It boasts 18-inch black sport wheels, a decorative bar, a front bumper cover, and distinctive AXCR decals. The interior also features the AXCR logo on the headrests. This model is powered by a 2.4-liter diesel engine producing 182 horsepower and 430 Nm of peak torque.
