VinFast Evo Lite's urban appeal: key highlights

This electric scooter model boasts a compact size, easy maneuverability in urban areas, no driving license requirement, and flexible battery swapping.

The VinFast Evo Lite is designed for city commuters, students, and individuals making short daily trips. VinFast equips the Evo Lite with an inhub motor, providing a maximum power of 2,450W. Its speed is limited to under 49 km/h, meaning it does not require a driving license, though riders must be at least 16 years old. This configuration makes it an accessible option for urban transportation.

The scooter's design emphasizes compactness and agility. It features a full LED lighting system, including projector led headlights. The braking system comprises a front disc brake and a rear drum brake, complemented by hydraulic shock absorbers. A full LCD screen displays various riding parameters, enhancing convenience for users.

Nguyen Thi Mai Uyen, from Hoan Kiem ward, who purchased an Evo Lite at an electric scooter dealership on Ton Duc Thang street in Hanoi, expressed satisfaction with her choice. She stated that the scooter is lightweight, compact, and easy to ride, making it suitable for short trips around home. "The scooter has a phone charging port and GPS directly on the app, which is very convenient for tracking," Mai Uyen said, adding that the Evo Lite also features a practical front storage compartment.

Do Long (43), from Hang Bac street, highly praised the Evo Lite's battery swapping capability. He mentioned that the Old Quarter area is often narrow, with limited space for families to charge electric vehicles at home. Therefore, he chose the Evo Lite because battery swap stations are easy to find and conveniently located around his residential area.

"Many neighbors have gradually switched to electric scooters because they are compact and easy to navigate in the city, especially as the city aims to restrict petrol motorbikes in the near future," he said. "Many people worry about charging, so the battery swapping solution is very effective; there's no need to run power cords or plug in the scooter inside the house."

Priced from 17 million VND, the Evo Lite is one of VinFast's most accessible two-wheeled electric scooter models. Currently, the company offers several promotions, including: a 6% discount from the "Manh liet vi tuong lai Xanh" (Strongly for a Green Future) program; 2% of the vehicle's value, equivalent to 100% of registration fees; and a 5% "petrol to electric trade-in" incentive, valid until the end of May.

After applying these promotions, the actual selling price of the Evo Lite will be reduced by approximately 13%, starting from 14,7 million VND. Additionally, VinFast provides 20 free battery swaps per month until 30/6/2028.
