The Microfinance Organization CEP, an entity of the Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Labor, has collaborated with VinFast, GSM, and the Binh Tan Grab and Tech-Bike Drivers' Union to launch a program assisting drivers in acquiring VinFast electric motorbikes. This initiative is designed to support Ho Chi Minh City's plan to transition 400,000 gasoline motorbikes used by motorbike taxi and tech-bike drivers to pure electric vehicles.

Under this program, drivers who are members of the Binh Tan Grab and Tech-Bike Drivers' Union, or other unions in Ho Chi Minh City, will be eligible for loans from CEP covering up to 100% of the motorbike's value. VinFast will cover the loan interest for a period of 12 months. GSM will provide technological assistance, enabling drivers to join and operate on the Xanh SM Platform, where they will receive incentives for new drivers to help optimize their income.
Specifically, individuals purchasing VinFast electric motorbikes directly through GSM and participating in operations on the Xanh SM Platform will benefit from a 90% revenue share, applicable until 31/7/2028, and free battery charging at V-Green's public charging stations.

Nguyen Van Thanh, Global CEO of GSM, stated that the Xanh SM Platform currently supports tens of thousands of electric motorbikes operating daily, and the company understands the concerns drivers have when transitioning to new vehicles. "With the collective effort and partnership of all parties, this program will help drivers overcome financial barriers, providing peace of mind, opportunities for increased income, and contributing to the city's overall goals," he said.
