Which road signs permit buses and trucks?

A road sign depicting the front of a car often leads many to mistakenly associate it with passenger cars, resulting in incorrect answers on driving tests.

Many driving test candidates face confusion with questions 462 and 463 from Chapter V (Road Signs) of the 600-question practice set. Both questions ask: "On the road segment marked with the sign below, are trucks and buses permitted to enter?" This frequently leads to incorrect answers.

Two types of road signs for automobiles according to regulation 41/2024.

Question 462 presents the sign on the left, while question 463 displays the sign on the right. For question 462, the correct answer is that trucks and buses are permitted to enter, as this sign designates a road for all types of automobiles. In contrast, for question 463, the correct answer is that they are not permitted to enter. This specific sign indicates a lane reserved exclusively for passenger cars, identifiable by the image of a passenger car viewed from the side.
