Daughter of Nam A Bank chairman born in 2002 becomes Ben Tre Pharmaceutical executive

Ms. Tran Ngo Minh Anh, daughter of Mr. Tran Ngo Phuc Vu, chairman of Nam A Bank, has been elected as deputy general director of Ben Tre Pharmaceutical.

Following an extraordinary meeting last weekend, Ben Tre Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (DBT) elected five new members to its Board of Directors (BOD): Mr. Phan Nhat Thanh, Ms. Tran Ngo Minh Anh, Ms. Le Thi Hoang Han, Mr. Pham Hong Ha, and Mr. Tran Dinh Van.

Ms. Tran Ngo Minh Anh was appointed deputy general director. Born in 2002 in Lam Dong, she is the daughter of Mr. Tran Ngo Phuc Vu, chairman of the Board of Directors of Nam A Bank (NAB). This young executive holds a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Central Florida (US) and gained experience at New Omni Bank, California (US) from 2024-2026. Ms. Minh Anh currently does not own any DBT shares and has no related interests in DBT.

Mr. Tran Ngo Phuc Vu has been with Nam A Bank for over a decade. He joined the bank in 2013 as deputy general director, subsequently holding key positions until he was elected chairman of the Board of Directors in December 2022, a role he holds to date.

The new leadership team at Ben Tre Pharmaceutical also includes another individual with ties to Nam A Bank: Mr. Phan Nhat Thanh (born in 1987). He has been working at Nam A Bank since June 2010. Similarly, Mr. Thanh does not own any DBT shares and has no related interests in DBT.

Ben Tre Pharmaceutical has been operating for 50 years, primarily manufacturing and trading pharmaceuticals. Last year, the company announced it served over 35,000 customers nationwide, reaching them through pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, and e-commerce channels.

For the first six months of the year, the company achieved a net revenue of 418 billion VND and an after-tax profit of approximately 25 billion VND. While revenue increased by only 3%, profit surged by 140%, primarily due to financial activities.

DBT shares are listed on the HoSE. Closing today's session, the stock fell 1.5% to 13,000 VND per unit; however, it has improved by nearly 16% since the beginning of the year. This also marks its highest price level in the past year.
