IDC Group expands Dell Technologies distribution

IDC Group is authorized to distribute additional Storage and OEM lines, marking a milestone in completing the Dell Technologies ecosystem in the Vietnamese market.

On 30/7, leaders of IDC Group signed an agreement to distribute Dell's Storage solutions and OEM lines. This milestone completes IDC's comprehensive distribution portfolio for the American brand's ecosystem, meeting the increasing needs of businesses undergoing digital transformation and developing information technology infrastructure.

The event gathered over 50 directors and representatives from information technology (IT) businesses and partners in the northern region.

The Storage line is positioned as an enterprise-scale data storage solution, addressing the growing demand for managing, securing, and expanding data infrastructure amidst rapid digital transformation across many sectors.

Meanwhile, the OEM line offers the capability to supply components, hardware, and customized solutions for manufacturing partners, system integrators, and businesses seeking to develop their own branded products based on Dell technology.

During the event, IDC emphasized that adding these two new lines not only diversifies their business portfolio but also enables customers, dealers, and partners to access the complete and synchronized Dell ecosystem. This ranges from end-point devices, servers, and network infrastructure to in-depth storage solutions.

The unit's leadership also stated that completing the Dell ecosystem enhances their competitive advantage in Vietnam's technology market. This aligns with their sustainable development strategy, aiming to become a "comprehensive technology distributor" that serves diverse customer segments, from small and medium-sized businesses to large corporations and organizations.

This portfolio expansion coincides with both parties preparing to celebrate 20 years of cooperation and kickstarting preparations for IDC's 35th anniversary. On 17/8/2006, IDC became Dell's first distributor in the Vietnamese market, laying the foundation for a strong relationship that has continuously expanded over two decades.

The two parties have gradually scaled their operations through various stages of the technology market's development. This includes the period when personal computers became widely popular, through digital transformation, and the growth in demand for data infrastructure, cloud computing, and storage solutions.

During the event, IDC Group also announced The Millionaire Club, a project recognizing and honoring outstanding growth partners. With three tiers: "Gold", "Platinum", and "Diamond", the company hopes to motivate partners to achieve higher goals.

"We believe that with the established foundation and a clear direction for the next phase, IDC, Dell Technologies, and our partners will continue to create more value for consumers, growing together in the era of data and AI," Ms. Nguyet Thu added.

With nearly 35 years of operation, IDC Group has been supplying a variety of equipment from major brands, including computers, printers, servers, workstations, storage devices, and network equipment.
