In recent years, the industrial LED lighting market in Vietnam has seen an influx of low-cost, unverified products widely distributed in industrial zones. In operation, many of these lighting systems quickly degrade in brightness, develop technical faults, and can negatively impact electrical systems, leading to production disruptions.

Consequently, all of the company's main lighting products, such as highbay LED lights, port floodlights, and street lights, utilize Nichia LED chips, a Japanese brand. Nichia is recognized for its high luminous efficacy and ability to maintain a stable color rendering index (CRI) over time.

According to Potech's chief engineer, high temperatures and dust are detrimental to LED lights in harsh industrial environments. Nichia chips enable Potech LED lights to maintain L70 brightness (70% of initial light) for over 50,000 hours. Complementing the LED chips are Meanwell drivers, a leading global power supply brand. Using Meanwell power supplies ensures stable light operation across a wide voltage range, with integrated surge protection and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) filtering, safeguarding the factory's electrical system.

Beyond components, the company also invests in mechanical design. Light casings are researched and manufactured from high-pressure die-cast aluminum alloy, designed to suit Vietnam's hot and humid climate conditions. The heat dissipation structure helps control the operating temperature of the LED chip, thereby preventing lifespan degradation due to overheating.

The company also implements a technical consultation process prior to installation. The technical team conducts on-site surveys, measurements, and lighting simulations using specialized software to determine the most suitable layout. This approach helps investors control illuminance and light uniformity, optimize the number of lights used, and consequently balance investment and operating costs.
