PVI Insurance nominated for Asia Insurance Industry Awards 2026 finals

PVI Insurance has been nominated for the "General Insurance Company of the Year" category at the Asia Insurance Industry Awards (AIIA) 2026 finals, marking its second consecutive year advancing to this stage of the awards.

The Asia Insurance Industry Awards (AIIA) 2026 marks the 30th year Asia Insurance Review has organized this prestigious event. Over three decades, the AIIA has become a reputable industry award in the region, recognizing insurance companies, reinsurance companies, brokers, financial service organizations, and individuals operating in the Asian insurance sector.

Candidates are evaluated based on various criteria, including operational efficiency, governance, innovation, service quality, and contributions to the industry and community. The "General Insurance Company of the Year" category specifically recognizes non-life insurance companies with outstanding operational results and development capabilities.

This year, the awards received nearly 185 applications across 16 categories, with 49 organizations and individuals selected for the finals. PVI Insurance is one of five entities nominated in the "General Insurance Company of the Year" category.

PVI Insurance is nominated alongside other regional insurance companies such as MSIG Insurance (Singapore) Pte Ltd, part of MS&AD Insurance Group, and Allianz Ayudhya, part of Allianz Group. In other categories, the finalist list includes AIA, HSBC Life, Fubon Life, Munich Re, RGA, and Allianz Asia Pacific.

This is the second consecutive year PVI Insurance has reached the final round of this category, having previously made it into the top 3 in 2025. Maintaining its presence among the finalists allows the company to be evaluated alongside major insurance companies in the region.

This achievement stems from the internal strengths the company has built over many years. The company currently leads the Vietnamese non-life insurance market in market share and holds a strong position in sectors such as energy, marine, property and engineering, liability, motor vehicles, human resources, and large-scale insurance programs.

In parallel with its business operations, PVI Insurance invests in technology and data, standardizing its underwriting and claims processes to enhance customer experience. According to the company, these factors are crucial for strengthening its domestic competitiveness and gradually aligning with regional market operating standards.

The final results of the 30th Asia Insurance Industry Awards will be announced in the coming period. A representative from PVI Insurance stated that its continued presence in the final evaluation round is an opportunity for the company to further enhance its brand recognition in the Asian market.

Previously, PVI Insurance also received recognition at several domestic and international awards and rankings. On 20/7, InsuranceAsia News announced the results of the Country Awards for Excellence - Vietnam 2026. PVI Insurance won four out of 10 award categories, including three corporate awards: best general insurer (commercial), best digital insurer, and outstanding claims management.

These awards acknowledge PVI Insurance's performance in commercial insurance operations, digital transformation, and claims management. Additionally, Pham Anh Duc, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PVI Insurance, was voted outstanding CEO of the year by the judging panel, recognizing his contributions to governance, operations, and development strategy.

Subsequently, on 6/8, PVI Insurance Corporation was ranked first for the third consecutive year in the "top 10 most reputable non-life insurance companies in Vietnam in 2026" by Vietnam Report. The company has consistently been in the top 10 since the ranking was first published annually in 2016.
