Sun PhuQuoc Airways recruits 1,000 flight attendants

Sun PhuQuoc Airways launches a flight attendant recruitment program, aiming to build a multinational workforce and prepare resources for its international route expansion plans.

Sun PhuQuoc Airways (SPA) has launched its "Cabin Crew Mega Recruitment Roadshow 2026" campaign, with the goal of hiring approximately 1,000 flight attendants in 2026. This initiative seeks to bolster human resources for new routes and support the airline's planned fleet expansion.

By the end of 2026, SPA anticipates operating around 32 aircraft and expanding its presence in key Asian markets. These include South Korea, Taiwan (China), Singapore, China, Malaysia, and India.

The airline's next phase of development involves acquiring four Airbus A330 wide-body aircraft. This addition will enable the operation of long-haul routes, directly connecting Phu Quoc with destinations such as Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Australia, Mongolia, Oman, the Czech Republic, and Turkey. In the long term, a commitment to invest in 40 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft and a target of owning 100 aircraft by 2030 underscore the airline's strategic growth plans for the coming years.

According to the company, this expansion provides flight attendants with opportunities to gain experience on both domestic and international routes, work in a multicultural environment, and advance their careers alongside the airline's growth.

A notable aspect of this year's recruitment drive is Sun PhuQuoc Airways' decision to open applications to citizens of all countries for the first time. A company representative stated that this move reflects the airline's strategy to build a multinational workforce, essential for its future international flight network.

The recruitment campaign will take place in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, making career opportunities in aviation accessible to both domestic and international candidates.

Sun PhuQuoc Airways has structured the Cabin Crew Mega Recruitment Roadshow 2026 as a Career Festival. This combines recruitment efforts with career guidance and an immersive experience of the company's culture.

At the event, candidates can participate in direct interviews, meet industry experts, and learn about service standards, the work environment, and career progression for flight attendants. Interactive activities and experiences are also designed to help participants gain a deeper understanding of the profession they aspire to pursue.

Beyond career development, compensation policies are a key concern for many applicants. Sun PhuQuoc Airways announced a starting salary of 24 million VND per month for new flight attendants. The airline also offers housing support, healthcare, insurance, and resort benefits within the Sun Group ecosystem.

Training costs, uniforms, and allowances during the training period are fully covered, aiming to reduce barriers for young individuals aspiring to a career as a flight attendant.

Ms. Ho Thi Thu Trang, HR Director of Sun PhuQuoc Airways, noted that the company is recruiting not just for immediate needs but also to build a professional team for its long-term development strategy.

"As the airline develops, each individual's career opportunities will also expand accordingly", Ms. Trang said.
