Thao Cam Vien Sai Gon One Member Limited Liability Company reported robust financial results for the first half of the year, welcoming nearly 1.3 million visitors. This represents a substantial 30% increase compared to the same period last year, with the park averaging over 7,100 daily visitors.

This surge in visitors propelled Thao Cam Vien's revenue to approximately 106 billion VND, an increase of over 29% from the previous year's first six months. Quarter II alone generated about 57 billion VND, marking a record high since the company began public reporting. Ticket sales accounted for over 70% of this revenue, supplemented by income from various services, including: beverage and food, games, parking, and train or electric car tickets.

Despite rising revenue, the cost of goods sold remained largely stable, leading to a gross profit of about 47.4 billion VND for the period, double that of the previous year. The company also recorded nearly 2.4 billion VND in financial revenue, a 5.9-fold increase over the same period in 2025. While specific details were not provided, the balance sheet indicates the company holds nearly 65 billion VND in term deposits and over 17 billion VND in non-term deposits.

Operating expenses saw an overall increase during the first six months. The company incurred no selling expenses and only just over 10 million VND in financial expenses. The majority of costs were attributed to enterprise management, totaling over 44.6 billion VND, more than double the previous year. Of this, labor costs accounted for approximately 22.8 billion VND. Consequently, Thao Cam Vien Sai Gon reported an after-tax profit exceeding 3.9 billion VND, up 22% compared to the same period. Total accumulated profit now stands at nearly 22.7 billion VND.

Thao Cam Vien One Member Limited Liability Company, wholly owned by the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, operates the landmark institution of the same name in Sai Gon ward (formerly central District 1). Established in 1864 as "Vuon Bach Thao" (Botanical Garden), it became commonly known as "So thu" (the zoo) by local residents. With a history spanning over 160 years, the facility now functions as a conservation, breeding, and development center for flora and fauna.

Since 2015, Thao Cam Vien has operated with complete financial autonomy, no longer receiving budget support. Its managing agency aims for the institution to be a financially healthy and efficient enterprise. The company is tasked with achieving average annual growth of 8% or more in revenue, pre-tax profit, and budget contributions, alongside an average 5% annual increase in employee income.

Beyond its role as a tourist attraction, Thao Cam Vien is also a key institution for conservation, animal rescue, care, and support. In June, the zoo assisted in sorting, caring for, and treating over 400 cats rescued by the Criminal Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police from an inter-provincial theft, purchase, and consumption ring.
