VFC organizes numerous gratitude activities in Cu Chi

VFC offered incense, visited historical sites, and expressed gratitude to 8 Me Viet Nam anh hung in Cu Chi, commemorating the 79th anniversary of Invalids and Martyrs' Day.

On 25/7, Viet Nam Fumigation Joint Stock Company (VFC) commenced its trip by holding an incense offering ceremony at Ben Duoc Martyrs' Memorial Temple. In a solemn atmosphere, the company's staff observed a moment of silence, expressing gratitude before the statue of President Ho Chi Minh and the spirits of heroes and martyrs who fought and sacrificed for the nation's independence and freedom.

The delegation then visited the Cu Chi Tunnels historical site. The tunnels, historical documents, and simple meals of cassava dipped in salted peanuts recreated the life and struggles of the Cu Chi army and people during the resistance war. The tunnel system, spanning over 250 km, was built primarily by human effort and rudimentary tools, reflecting the will, resilience, and creativity of the local forces.

After leaving the historical site, the delegation visited 8 Me Viet Nam anh hung in the area. This occasion allowed VFC staff to hear stories of sacrifice and dedication from the mothers and their families who contributed to the revolution. The gifts presented demonstrated VFC's gratitude, reinforcing the tradition of "showing gratitude and repaying kindness" and raising awareness among employees about preserving national values. In the photo, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Truong Cong Cu (in a blue shirt), represented the VFC delegation in visiting and presenting gifts to a Me Viet Nam anh hung.

According to a VFC representative, social responsibility is demonstrated not only through community welfare activities but also by preserving human values and fostering a culture of gratitude within the company. In the photo, Tran Van Dung, General Director of VFC (fourth from the right), along with staff, visited and presented gifts to a Me Viet Nam anh hung.

This 'return to the roots' activity is a program VFC maintains to connect employees with traditional values, while aiming for sustainable development linked to its responsibility towards customers, the community, and society. Nguyen Phuoc Tam, Deputy General Director of VFC, represented the delegation in presenting gifts to a Me Viet Nam anh hung. Established in 1975, VFC operates in agro-pharmaceuticals, fumigation, and pest control. Beyond business activities, the company implements numerous social welfare programs, aiming for sustainable development with community responsibility.
