Nguyen Trai - Ba Dinh, the 2024 season runner-up, will face Cau Giay, a first-time participant that has delivered many surprises. Nguyen Trai - Ba Dinh secured their quarter-final spot by defeating Pham Hong Thai and Dewey Tay Ho Tay, topping Group G. This experienced team previously finished second in the VnExpress Cup Ziaja 2024 and competed in a 2025 friendly tournament.
Cau Giay clinched first place in Group H, defeating Ha Noi Academy and Thuc Nghiem. Despite their debut in the tournament, the school has a prominent school basketball program in Ha Noi. Originating from the Cau Giay Basketball Club, the school's student athletes have competed in many tournaments, including the Cau Giay Open Cup.
The match promises a showdown between Nguyen Trai - Ba Dinh's pace control and Cau Giay's fast-break style. The winning team will advance to face the victor of the Viet Duc - Nguyen Binh Khiem match.
