Eight high school teams have advanced to the semifinals: Cau Giay, Viet Duc, Nguyen Tat Thanh, and Vinschool The Harmony in the boys' category; and Vinschool The Harmony, Vinschool Smart City, Phan Dinh Phung, and Viet Duc in the girls' category.

Matches will run from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on November 30 at Hanoi Children's Palace – Campus 2, located at 17 Pham Hung. The opening game is a girls' semifinal between Vinschool The Harmony and Vinschool Smart City at 8 a.m. Two hours later, Phan Dinh Phung will face Viet Duc in the other girls' semifinal.
In the afternoon, the boys' semifinals will begin with Viet Duc playing Cau Giay from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., followed by Vinschool The Harmony against Nguyen Tat Thanh at 2:30 p.m.
The semifinal matches will follow standard FIBA 2020 5x5 basketball rules, consisting of four quarters, each 8 minutes of stopped time. If tied after four quarters, teams will play a 5-minute overtime period. The Vietnam Basketball Federation will professionally oversee all matches.

The organizing committee has scheduled matches in blocks to allow teams time to warm up and familiarize themselves with the court, while also ensuring refereeing and logistical support. Spectators can attend freely to cheer on the teams.
The four winning teams will advance to the finals on December 7, with the girls' final taking place at 1 p.m. and the boys' final at 3 p.m.
The total prize value exceeds 100 million VND, divided equally between the two categories. The champion team will receive 15 million VND, the runner-up 10 million VND, the third-place team 7 million VND, and the tournament's most valuable player will be awarded 5 million VND, along with a cup, flag, medals, and gifts from sponsors.
The VnExpress Youth Basketball Tournament 2025 – Ziaja Cup is organized by VnExpress and FPT Online Services Joint Stock Company, with the support of pharmaceutical and cosmetic brand Ziaja and professional oversight from the Vietnam Basketball Federation. This event is part of the national project "Developing School Basketball until 2030."
The organizing committee will broadcast all matches live on the tournament's official fanpage and website.
