FIFA introduced the latest song on 11/6, performed by the legendary Italian tenor and young artists. Titled "DNA", the track explores the essence of football: resilience, unity, and aspiration, qualities inherent in every player and fan. The lyrics state: "It's not just a game, it's our DNA".
Billboard noted that Bocelli brings emotional depth, while Guetta, Ejea, and Megan Thee Stallion represent the voice of the younger generation. "Together, they create a track that is both solemn and modern, serving as a bridge between football's past and future", Billboard wrote. The artists are scheduled to perform at the World Cup's first opening ceremony on 11/6 in Mexico (0:30 on 12/6, Hanoi time).
Andrea Bocelli expressed his connection to the sport, stating: "The title DNA says it all. Football has been a part of my life since I was very young and will always hold a special place in my heart". He also shared his honor in singing alongside prominent contemporary stars and thanked the people of Mexico for their welcoming reception.

Ejea, known for her song "Golden", shared that contributing to "DNA" brought back memories of the 2002 World Cup in South Korea. The Korean singer also expressed her joy at writing part of the lyrics in her native language.
"DNA" is one of the songs featured on the official World Cup 2026 album, produced by FIFA. Previously, the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) released other tracks such as: "Dai Dai" by Shakira, "Goals" by Lisa, and "Lighter" by Jelly Roll and Carin Leon.
Andrea Bocelli is an Italian singer and songwriter renowned for his tenor voice. His name is associated with works like "Besame Mucho", "Time To Say Goodbye", and "Vivo Per Lay". He became permanently blind at 12 years old due to an accident. In 2014, he married his long-time girlfriend, actress Veronica Berti. Celine Dion, who has performed duets with him multiple times, once remarked: "If God had a singing voice, it would sound a lot like Andrea Bocelli".
The World Cup 2026 begins on 11/6 at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City and concludes on 19/7 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, which will be renamed New York New Jersey Stadium during the tournament. Katy Perry, Lisa, Tyla, Anitta, and Rema are scheduled to perform at the opening ceremony in Inglewood, California, United States, on 12/6.
