During the premiere of the film 'Wrath' in Hong Kong on 10/6, Xie Miao recounted that Chow Yun Fat had visited to encourage and support him while he was promoting the work. Initially, Xie Miao hesitated to approach the veteran actor, sitting with his head bowed, wondering if his senior colleague might be disappointed in him.

Chow Yun Fat initiated the embrace, asking, "Where's your mother?" Xie Miao laughed, realizing that in Chow Yun Fat's mind, he was still the 10-year-old boy who needed his mother by his side.
The two had not been in contact for 32 years, only recently reconnecting. Though unspoken, Xie Miao held gratitude for Chow Yun Fat's encouragement years ago, which inspired him to complete his education.
