Having arrived in the US in early June, Quang Dung expressed his anticipation at seeing his son in his graduation gown. The singer wished Bao Nam good fortune for the future. "I am happy to see my child grow up each day. Now, Bao Nam is stable in all aspects to pursue his dreams and aspirations," he stated.

Bao Nam is currently considering majors in technology, medicine, or physics. The singer supports his son living in a dormitory to foster independence.
In late May, Jennifer Pham traveled to the US and took Bao Nam to watch a Formula 1 race in Montreal, Canada. This was a gift for him, recognizing his strong academic performance.
She mentioned that Bao Nam received admission offers from several US universities. Last year, the beauty queen visited various major universities in California. The mother and son visited the University of California, Irvine (UCI), where Jennifer Pham studied medicine before returning to Vietnam to work as an MC. She also bought a car for him to learn driving, facilitating his transportation.
Quang Dung and Jennifer Pham maintain a good relationship post-divorce, agreeing to let their son develop naturally. He added that while Bao Nam lives in the US, Jennifer Pham and his maternal grandmother consistently provide an environment for him to practice speaking Vietnamese.
Bao Nam is 18 years old, stands 1,9 m tall, and is passionate about exploring science and machinery. He is said to resemble his father in appearance.

Quang Dung, 51 years old, whose real name is Thai Van Dung, participated in the Binh Dinh Television Singing Contest in 1997, winning second prize. In 1998, the provincial Department of Culture selected him to represent them at the Central Highlands and Central Provinces Good Singing Contest in Hue, where he won a gold medal. Subsequently, he moved to TP HCM, performing in tea rooms and gaining renown for his deep, calm voice and elegant style. He remains single and performs regularly both domestically and internationally.
Jennifer Pham, 41 years old, was crowned Miss Asia USA in 2006. She graduated with a degree in pharmacy from the University of California. In recent years, the beauty queen has resided in Ha Noi, frequently hosting events and serving as a judge for numerous beauty pageants both within Vietnam and abroad. She married businessman Duc Hai in 2012 and they have three children together.
