At the event, elderly participants received comprehensive health care, ranging from monitoring body indices to in-depth nutrition counseling. These activities aimed to help them better understand their physical condition, access nutrition knowledge, prevent age-related diseases, and establish healthy lifestyles.
Twenty doctors and nutrition experts participated, offering direct counseling to local elderly residents. The counseling focused on nutrition care, health protection in old age, proactive disease prevention, and enhancing quality of life.
Beyond health care, elderly people in Dong Thap also engaged in various cultural and spiritual activities. They enjoyed don ca tai tu (southern Vietnamese folk music), cai luong (reformed opera), and interacted with artists, writers, and poets. This provided a space for them to meet, share memories, family life, and traditional values across generations.
