The fibroid, measuring 25x20x20 cm, had caused her significant distress, including heavy bleeding, abdominal pain, and shortness of breath. Doctors at Military Hospital 121 noted the large mass extended to her sternum, causing pain upon palpation. The patient's medical history, including two previous C-sections and asthma, made the procedure particularly challenging.

The surgical team faced a complex situation, as the entire front surface of the uterus was tightly adhered to the abdominal wall and sides. This made dissection difficult and carried a high risk of bladder perforation or ureter damage. Despite these challenges, the team successfully completed the removal in two hours. Following the surgery, an endoscopic examination confirmed clear ureters, and the patient remained alert and was under close observation.

This successful operation marks the largest uterine fibroid ever received and treated by Military Hospital 121.
