On 1/9, the Traffic Police Department of Ha Tinh Provincial Police announced that a man from Tran Phu ward was fined for parking in a location in front of an agency or organization's entrance with a designated vehicle access, in accordance with Decree 168/2024.
After 13h on 22/8, the man drove his Ha Tinh-plated five-seat car to the Ha Tinh Technical Center for Standards, Metrology and Quality on Vu Quang street, Thanh Sen ward.
The driver parked directly in front of the approximately 4 m wide entrance and left. The car significantly blocked the entryway, hindering the movement of officials, staff, and the public conducting transactions.
After receiving complaints from residents, Thanh Sen Ward Police, in coordination with the Traffic Police Department, invited the driver for questioning. The man admitted his actions and was issued a citation, resulting in a 900,000 VND fine.
Regulations prohibit car drivers from stopping or parking in front of an agency or organization's entrance and within 5 m on either side of the entrance, where there is a designated vehicle access.
