The Lang Son Provincial People's Procuracy announced that a 39-year-old man, residing in Cai Kinh commune, has been indicted for violating road traffic regulations. The charges fall under Clause 1, Article 260 of the Criminal Code.

The incident occurred on the afternoon of 27/9/2025, when the man crossed the street in Cai Kinh commune. He collided with a motorcycle driven by a woman traveling from Lang Son to Hanoi.

The accident resulted in severe injuries: the man sustained 70% body injuries, while the woman suffered 65% body injuries. The motorcycle was also damaged.

Investigation results revealed that the man crossed the street at a location lacking both traffic lights and a pedestrian crossing. Furthermore, he failed to give any warning signals before entering the roadway.

Prosecutors deemed this an unusual case, as the indicted individual, a pedestrian, violated road traffic safety regulations, leading to serious consequences.
