Dak Lak Provincial Police are investigating the death of a 39-year-old librarian from Le Dinh Chinh Primary School in Ea Wy commune. On August 14, authorities were examining the crime scene, conducting an autopsy, and collecting documents, exhibits, and related evidence.
According to the male teacher's testimony, the incident stemmed from a jealous romantic conflict.
The teacher, who is married with two children, began a relationship with the school's female librarian in early 2025. The librarian had divorced in march and was raising two daughters.
Around 9 p.m. on August 10, after attending a school party, the male teacher went to the female colleague's room in the school's staff quarters to talk. An argument ensued between the two.
Subsequently, the teacher used force against his female colleague, causing her death. Panicked and fearing his actions would be discovered, the male teacher attempted to conceal the incident by burning clothes, blankets, and pillows in the room to erase traces.
The suspect then transported the victim's body to his plantation in village 13, Ea Drang commune, about 20 km from the school, and buried it to dispose of it.
