Lao Cai Provincial Police arrested Vang Van Anh, 32, a social media personality known as "Long Tong", on 16/12 at Noi Bai International Airport. He had evaded authorities for nearly four years on charges of illegal drug possession.

Police, in collaboration with the Drug Crime Investigation Department of the Ministry of Public Security, apprehended Anh at 23h30 on 16/12 at the Noi Bai International Airport station. They seized one mobile phone, one citizen identification card, and one passport as evidence.

The Lao Cai Provincial Police Investigation Agency issued the wanted warrant for Anh on 18/1/2022.

For a significant period, Anh frequently appeared on social media platforms, styling himself as "Long Tong," an internet personality known for a lavish lifestyle. He often posted videos showcasing his opulent life abroad, enticing others to collaborate on overseas business ventures.
