Campaign celebrates women and safe riding culture

Petronas Sprinta launches "SheRides Ride Across Viet Nam - A journey celebrating women and safe riding culture", bringing women motorcyclists across the country to share vehicle maintenance expertise.

SheRides 2026, a community campaign for women who ride large displacement motorcycles in Vietnam, was initiated by the lubricant oil brand Petronas Sprinta in mid-September in TP HCM. With the message "She rides the game - Petronas Sprinta protects the journey", the campaign aims to connect, inspire, and challenge the stereotype that vehicle maintenance is exclusively for men.

In October, the program expanded to Central Vietnam, offering community engagement and experiences for motorcycle enthusiasts, particularly women passionate about riding.

At the SheRides Phu Yen stop, the group visited Petronas lubricant oil distributor Cuong Thu. They engaged with the local motorcycle community and participated in vehicle care activities. Attendees learned about routine vehicle inspection and maintenance, experienced Petronas Sprinta oil changes, received gifts, and connected with other riders.

Through these practical activities, the program helps users understand the importance of vehicle care for every journey. A properly inspected and maintained vehicle ensures stable operation and helps riders be more prepared for each trip.

The journey then continued to the SheRides Da Nang stop, where Miss Motor riders met the local motorcycle community at Petronas lubricant oil distributor TKK (Hoa Xuan Motorcycle Repair Center) and Phung Hoang Motorcycle Showroom. The presence of women riders with their large displacement motorcycles created an exciting atmosphere, fostering a space for enthusiasts to exchange experiences and inspire each other.

A highlight of this leg was the exchange session at Harley-Davidson Da Nang. Women riders shared riding experiences, tips on choosing protective gear, and advice for long journeys. The importance of appropriate helmets, gloves, attire, and protective footwear was emphasized as crucial for personal safety on the road.

According to the women riders, the journey provided memorable experiences. Meetings among motorcycle enthusiasts in various localities not only strengthened bonds but also offered opportunities for learning, sharing, and building confidence on new roads.

Leaving Da Nang, the group arrived at the SheRides Hoi An stop, exploring peaceful routes and experiencing the unique beauty of Hoi An Ancient Town, capturing memorable moments. At each stop, the spirit of camaraderie, proactive riding, and safe traffic participation spread clearly.

From Hoi An, the group continued to Hue, traveling through scenic routes rich in Central Vietnamese culture. Amidst the distinctive setting of the Ancient Capital, the women riders checked in, explored the locality, and concluded the leg by sharing their passion for riding, their connections, and their confidence in mastering each journey.

The Hue leg not only extended memorable experiences but also clarified the spirit SheRides embodies: women can confidently own their journeys, proactively equip themselves with knowledge and skills, and prioritize safety and responsibility when participating in traffic.

According to the organizers, SheRides connects women motorcycle enthusiasts and raises awareness about traffic safety and vehicle care. The program encourages women to confidently ride and be responsible for themselves, their vehicles, and other road users.

As planned, the SheRides 2026 campaign will continue to implement activities connecting distributors, mechanics, garages, and vehicle users. It will organize free oil changes for women, honor women on Vietnamese Women's Day on 20/10, and share knowledge about vehicle care and safe riding.

For the Northern leg in late October, the journey is expected to pass through Ha Noi, Hai Phong, and Quang Ninh. It will combine community engagement with social welfare activities in Yen Tu ward, Quang Ninh, including gift distribution for women and scholarships for disadvantaged students.
