Maggi unveils specialized frying powder for air fryers

The Maggi brand has introduced a line of frying powder designed specifically for air fryers, helping home cooks streamline preparation while ensuring dishes remain crispy.

Maggi has launched a specialized frying powder designed to simplify air fryer cooking. This innovative product reduces the preparation process from four steps to two basic ones. Home cooks can now skip the cumbersome process of mixing various flours; instead, they simply roll ingredients directly in the dry powder before placing them into the air fryer. This method eliminates the need for wet batter or additional eggs, maximizing time saved in the kitchen.

The product is packaged in convenient 40 g portions, sufficient for coating approximately 250 g of ingredients, such as eight chicken wing middle pieces. This compact packaging ensures the entire contents are used in a single cooking session, preventing waste and eliminating the need for measuring. The marinating process is swift, requiring only about 5 minutes. This efficiency allows families to quickly prepare hot, low-oil meals with minimal effort.

A brand representative states that simplifying the cooking process does not compromise the quality or flavor of the dishes. Maggi's frying powder is a harmonious blend of breadcrumbs, cereals, and cheese powder. These ingredients interact effectively with the high temperatures of an air fryer, forming a golden, crispy exterior while preserving the natural moisture and tenderness of the food inside. Home cooks can easily pair this powder with various common ingredients, including: chicken breast, chicken thigh, pork belly, basa fish, or snakehead fish, to create diverse family meals.

Maggi currently offers two distinct options to cater to diverse user preferences. The Traditional flavor provides a familiar taste profile that pairs effortlessly with various meats and fish. Conversely, the Cheese flavor delivers a rich, savory highlight, offering a novel culinary experience. This specialized frying powder has also received high praise and endorsement from reputable home appliance brands in the market.
