With evolving housing needs, families now focus beyond design and decor, prioritizing elements that directly shape daily life. Factors like deep sleep, sustained alertness in enclosed spaces, and balanced temperature, humidity, and air purity are setting new comfort benchmarks.

Air conditioners are thus evolving past simple temperature control, becoming air care solutions that offer homeowners greater comfort and an improved living experience.
This direction aligns with Daikin's development over one century of air conditioning research. The company states it views comfort as more than just a cool sensation. Instead, the brand approaches air as an ecosystem requiring a balance of temperature, humidity, airflow, and purity.
This philosophy is integrated into the FTKM wall-mounted air conditioner series.
A Daikin Vietnam representative noted that users often readily detect temperature changes but pay less attention to humidity, despite its significant impact on comfort in enclosed spaces. According to the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) standards, humidity levels between 40% and 60% are considered suitable for indoor environments.

In the FTKM series, the humi comfort plus humidity control feature allows users to select three humidity levels based on their needs. The 45% level is suitable for dry, airy spaces or humid days. The 55% level aims for a balanced state for daily activities. Meanwhile, the 65% level is designed for rest periods, helping maintain more comfortable humidity during sleep.

In enclosed spaces, the combination of streamer technology and enzyme blue + pm2.5 filters meets the standards for a healthy living environment. The comfort sleep mode automatically adjusts the temperature according to the sleep cycle. Additionally, the device operates via GPS positioning, allowing it to start automatically when users are on their way home, preparing a pleasant atmosphere from the moment they step inside.

According to Daikin, as users increasingly focus on indoor air quality, the ability to control air temperature, humidity, and purity is no longer a supplementary feature but an integral part of the living experience.
"As personalization becomes paramount, mastering humidity control allows Daikin to move beyond a conventional feature, becoming a new benchmark for living spaces," a company representative stated.
This is also part of the company's long-term strategy to develop air conditioning solutions better suited to Vietnam's climate conditions and actual user needs.
