According to experts, kittens under one year old require significant energy and protein for proper development. During their adult stage (one to seven years old), their diet needs to be balanced to maintain physical condition, endurance, and digestive health. Cats begin their natural aging process from seven years old, at which point they may need additional support for digestion and overall health to maintain their well-being.

Experts emphasize that food suitable for kittens is not necessarily the best choice for adult or senior cats. Common signs of a healthy cat include finishing meals, consistent waste, shiny and less shedding fur, and active playfulness.

Foundational nutrition for cats

A representative from Nestle stated that the company has developed food formulas tailored to each developmental stage, based on a deep understanding of pet physiology and behavior.

Nestle Purina, with over 130 years of experience in the pet nutrition industry, boasts a network of 23 research centers, over 500 veterinarians and scientists, and more than 7,700 granted and pending patents. For cats, the company developed the Purina One product line, focusing on boosting the immune system through its formula and balancing nutrition according to AAFCO standards.

The brand designed the Purina One product line to help cats enjoy their food, stay active, maintain stable digestion, and have healthy skin and coats.

Supporting pet owners on their care journey

The company also developed the Nestle Purina PetCare Vietnam program across social media platforms such as Facebook, Zalo, and TikTok. This initiative provides knowledge to support cat owners based on their pet's age, needs, and activities. Through the program, users can participate and accumulate points to redeem gifts and access cat care services via the brand's Zalo miniapp, contributing to a more comprehensive care experience.
