Firefighters deployed dozens of personnel to the scene, bringing the blaze under control by approximately 5:30 AM. Upon inspection, Mr. Hung was found dead inside. All household items were completely destroyed.

Ward leaders reported that the victim lived alone and exhibited signs of confusion, often collecting and storing items within his home. Although relatives resided nearby, they had limited access because he would not allow them entry. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
