On 30/3, the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council approved a resolution unifying the authority to implement the Nha Trang - Da Lat expressway project and outlining the plan for dividing its component projects.
Under this agreement, the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee will oversee the entire project's implementation. The section passing through Lam Dong province will be managed as separate component projects, including compensation, site clearance, and resettlement, to be carried out by the locality using its budget.

Lam Dong plans to allocate approximately 768 billion VND from its 2026-2030 medium-term public investment plan to contribute to the project.
The proposed expressway, with an estimated total capital of 25,000 billion VND, will be developed under a public-private partnership (PPP) model. The route spans 80,8 km, with about 44 km in Khanh Hoa and 36,8 km in Lam Dong. It will feature four lanes, a roadbed width of 22-24,75 meters, and a design speed of 80-100 km/h.
The expressway's starting point is in Dien Tho commune (Khanh Hoa), with its endpoint at the Darahoa intersection (Da Lat). Upon completion, this route will significantly reduce travel time compared to the current National Highway 27C path through Khanh Le Pass.
