Around 2 PM on 11/6, a large pine tree within the headquarters of the Fund for Forest Protection and Development on Hung Vuong street unexpectedly fell onto the road. The tree's trunk collapsed a section of the perimeter wall, striking two parked oto and one motorcycle, and also breaking a power pole.

The incident occurred during dry weather. The tree, with a trunk diameter of about 50 cm and standing tens of meters tall, completely blocked Hung Vuong street after its fall. Its extensive branches and leaves covered the roadway, entangling with power lines and telecommunication cables, severely disrupting traffic.
Fortunately, the incident caused no casualties. Authorities quickly cordoned off a section of the road. They began trimming branches and removing the tree trunk to ensure public safety and restore traffic flow.
A Pleiku ward leader confirmed that the fallen tree belonged to the Fund for Forest Protection and Development, not a public street tree. Officials are currently assessing the damage and investigating the cause of the incident.
