Around 4 a.m., a fire erupted from a bedroom on the second floor of a house, approximately 45 square meters in size, located in the Foreign Affairs Department residential complex. Smoke and heat quickly spread throughout the entire house.
Upon discovering the fire, the 77-year-old homeowner managed to escape. The four remaining occupants—the homeowner's wife, son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter—moved to upper floors to avoid the smoke and await rescue.

Approximately 10 minutes after receiving the report, Firefighting and Rescue Team Area No. 12 and No. 9 dispatched three fire trucks, one water tanker, and one fire motorbike to the scene.
At the scene, one team began extinguishing the flames, while rescue personnel approached from an adjacent rooftop, breaking through the 'chuong cop' iron grilles to reach the trapped individuals. All four victims were then brought to safety and handed over to medical personnel for health checks.
By approximately 5:25 a.m., the fire was completely extinguished. The cause of the blaze is currently under investigation by authorities.
