Around 13:00, the car was traveling from Nha Trang towards Cam Ranh international airport. Near Diamond Bay resort, Nam Nha Trang ward, the car suddenly veered into the median strip, flipping onto the opposite lane, with smoke rising from the cabin.

Residents near the scene heard a loud noise and rushed to help extract the trapped occupants. They also used fire extinguishers to put out the fire. The three people in the car sustained minor scratches.

Trung, a resident living nearby, said that before the collision, a motorbike carrying two people sped out of an alley, cutting in front of the car. The driver then swerved to avoid it, leading to the incident.

Authorities arrived shortly after to manage the scene and regulate traffic to prevent congestion.
