On 16/5, VNVC delivered a comprehensive 10 billion VND support package to Con Dao, aimed at bolstering the health and well-being of its military personnel and residents. This initiative includes free influenza vaccinations, the sponsorship of an international GSP-standard cold storage facility, and crucial health consultations.

The program is designed to enhance the local preventive healthcare capacity, enabling Con Dao to proactively manage disease prevention and provide comprehensive health services for its population and forces stationed on the island. It brings high-quality vaccination services directly to the community.

As part of this significant event, the VNVC vaccination system hosted an online consultation program. Titled "Online Consultation: Healthcare for Con Dao's Military and Residents", the session featured VNVC doctors directly addressing health queries from the island's residents, officials, and soldiers, as well as questions submitted by the online audience.

VNVC operates as a leading vaccination center system across Vietnam, boasting over 260 centers and approximately 12,000 healthcare personnel. The organization offers a wide array of vaccines for both children and adults, significantly increasing national vaccination rates, with adults accounting for over 40% of recipients. This effort also cultivates long-term vaccination habits within communities nationwide.
