On 16/4, the Da Nang City People's Committee announced its approval of the investment proposal and accepted funding for the Nguyen Van Linh street surface repair project from Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company. This company will fully finance the over 19,8 billion VND project and manage its construction under official supervision. The project covers a 1,5 km section from the Da Nang International Airport gate to Hoang Dieu street. The scope of work includes addressing existing damage, resurfacing the entire road with asphalt concrete, and repainting traffic lane markings.
The project is expected to be completed in 5/2026, after which the city will assume management and operation. These repairs aim to enhance traffic safety and prepare critical infrastructure for upcoming international political and cultural events in the area.

Following the completion of these repairs, the funding company plans to collaborate with the city on a broader renovation for the Nguyen Van Linh - Vo Van Kiet axis. This axis directly connects the airport, via Dragon Bridge, to My Khe beach. The proposed renovation includes adding greenery, upgrading lighting systems, and incorporating urban aesthetic elements. This initiative aims to create a cohesive gateway axis, improving both infrastructure quality and the city's urban appearance. Da Nang City emphasized that the arrangement of landscape elements must be flexible and align with spatial planning, especially in high-traffic zones.
