Around 2:20 p.m., a fire broke out at a car customization workshop located at 68 Le Quang Dao Street, Tu Liem Ward. According to witnesses, the fire initially started small at the back of the workshop, then quickly spread. Black smoke billowed dozens of meters into the sky.

Fire and Rescue Team Area 16, along with units from neighboring areas, dispatched 5 fire trucks to the scene. Upon arrival, emergency responders found the fire had engulfed a large area and spread to two adjacent garages. Police deployed multiple water streams to prevent the blaze from spreading further.

By about 3:15 p.m., after nearly one hour of firefighting, the blaze was largely contained.

The affected car customization workshop was a temporary structure, with many flammable signs on its exterior. This incident marks the third workshop fire recorded in Hanoi recently, following two previous incidents in Chuong My Ward. The cause and extent of the damage are currently under investigation.
