Fire erupts at Hoi An Memories Island stage

A fire broke out at the Hoi An Memories Island stage, sending black smoke dozens of meters high and forcing the park and its immersive show to temporarily suspend operations.

Around 10h on 25/8, a fire suddenly erupted at the stage area of Hoi An Memories Island in Hoi An ward. Local forces, in coordination with authorities, quickly contained and extinguished the blaze, preventing its spread to nearby areas.

A representative from Hoi An Memories Island confirmed there were no human casualties and no impact on other areas of the island. The entity is currently working with authorities to inspect the scene, determine the cause, and assess the damage.

For inspection and repair of the affected area, Hoi An Memories Park and the "Hoi An Memories" immersive show will be closed on 26/8. They are expected to reopen from 27/8, once all safety conditions are ensured. Guests who purchased tickets for the closure period will be contacted by the entity for assistance. The Hoi An Memories Resort & Spa on the island continues to operate as usual.
