Upon discovering the incident, the five foreigners, who were employees inside, pressed the rolling shutter but could not open it. They had to gather their belongings and climb out a window, over two meters high, located on the side of the building to escape.
Fire and Rescue Police dispatched two vehicles along with dozens of officers to the scene. They broke open the rolling shutter, extinguished the fire, and inspected the interior.

Initial findings suggest a wall-mounted television near the mezzanine likely short-circuited. A section of the wall was charred black. At the time of the fire, the restaurant was not yet operational. Some individuals sustained minor scratches during their escape.
According to the People's Committee of Nha Trang Ward, the restaurant is owned by a Vietnamese person and employs foreign staff. These employees come from various countries, communicate in Russian, and also reside at the premises.
