Five people were rescued from a fierce house fire in Hanoi on the night of 12/4. Firefighters swiftly responded to the blaze at a 5-story tube house with a rooftop extension in Hong Ha ward, successfully bringing the trapped individuals to safety.
The fire erupted around 10:45 PM on the first floor of the residential building, located in alley 131, Hong Ha street. The ground floor, reportedly containing numerous helmets, fueled the rapid spread of flames to upper levels, generating thick, toxic smoke.
Seven people were initially inside the house. Two managed to escape early and immediately called for help for the remaining five, who were trapped. The tube house, approximately 30 square meters, had its only first-floor exit blocked by the intense smoke and fire.
Fire police quickly deployed about 10 fire trucks and numerous firefighters to the scene. Rescuers used specialized ladders to access the upper floors through windows, successfully evacuating all five trapped individuals.
