Minutes later, the blaze intensified, with thick black smoke billowing, causing chaos in the residential area. The house was closed and empty, and the high location of the fire prevented surrounding residents from initial firefighting efforts.

Tran Nho, 66, a resident living near the scene, stated that during the rain, he heard a very loud lightning strike near the house, after which the rooftop began to blaze fiercely. "Before the fire, there was a loud explosion, possibly due to an electrical short circuit", Nho said.

Three fire engines and 18 firefighters arrived at the scene. Firefighters broke down the door, entering from the ground floor to reach the rooftop and extinguish the flames. The fire was brought under control after 20 minutes, with no casualties reported. The cause is currently under investigation.
