The delegation included Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Head of the Central Organization Commission, and Le Hoai Trung, Minister of Foreign Affairs, along with leaders from the Party Central Office, the General Secretary's Office, and the President's Office.

This visit marked the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution (19/8/1945), National Day (2/9), and 57 years since President Ho Chi Minh's passing.

Earlier today, thousands of people gathered at Ba Dinh Square from early morning to visit the Mausoleum and the Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace.

Previously, on the 81st National Day, on the morning of august 28, General Secretary and President To Lam, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, and Permanent Member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu, along with other Party and State leaders, visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and offered incense in remembrance of heroic martyrs at the Monument on Bac Son Street.

Eighty-one years ago, on 2/9/1945, at Ba Dinh Square in Hanoi, President Ho Chi Minh, on behalf of the Provisional Government, read the Declaration of Independence. This declaration announced to the compatriots and the world the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Fifty-seven years ago, at 9:47 a.m. on 2/9/1969, President Ho Chi Minh passed away in Hanoi, aged 79. His funeral was solemnly held on 9/9 at Ba Dinh Square, amidst the grief of compatriots nationwide and international friends.
