Other locations are: Green Square Urban - Commercial - Service Area (Dong Hoa ward); Pier 914 Historical Site (Con Dao special district); Kim Long Villa Area (Rach Dia bridge area, Nha Be commune); Sac Forest Hero Martyrs' Temple (Can Gio commune); and sites at the Cultural - Sports Centers of Dau Tieng commune and Minh Thanh commune.
The fireworks displays will last 15 minutes, from 0h to 0h15 on 17/2 (the first day of Tet Binh Ngo). The organization adheres to Decree 137/2020, which permits Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to host fireworks during major holidays such as Lunar New Year, National Day on 2/9, and Reunification Day on 30/4.
For Tet Binh Ngo, Ho Chi Minh City will also host various activities for residents, including a spring flower festival at Tao Dan Park, and flower and book streets in the central area (Nguyen Hue and Le Loi streets). This year, the city has also renovated and removed fences from nine public land plots that had been vacant for years, transforming them into public flower gardens to enhance community living spaces.
The official Tet Binh Ngo holiday period begins on monday 16/2 (the 29th day of the 12th lunar month, At Ty year) and concludes on friday 20/2 (the 4th day of the 1st lunar month, Binh Ngo year). Because the holiday falls between two weekends, the total break extends to nine consecutive days, from 14/2 to 22/2 (the 27th day of the 12th lunar month, At Ty year, to the 6th day of the 1st lunar month, Binh Ngo year).
