According to the Vietnam Expressway Development Investment Corporation (VEC), fees are calculated based on vehicle type and actual distance traveled. All stations along the route will use electronic toll collection (ETC).
For a journey from the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong expressway interchange to National Highway 51, vehicles with fewer than 12 seats, trucks under 2 tons, and buses will pay approximately 111,700 VND. The highest fee, about 446,700 VND, applies to trucks over 18 tons and container trucks 40 feet and above.

Previously, about 30 km at both ends of the expressway were already in operation, equipped with a toll collection system. When the remaining section connects, this infrastructure will continue to operate synchronously.

According to the traffic organization plan approved by the Vietnam Road Administration, the maximum speed on the main route ranges from 80-90 km/h depending on the section, with a minimum speed of 60 km/h.
Vehicles can travel at a maximum of 90 km/h from the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong expressway interchange to the approach of Binh Khanh bridge. The section from the beginning of Binh Khanh bridge to the end of the Phuoc Khanh bridge approach is limited to 80 km/h; the remaining section to the end of the route allows 90 km/h. Exit and entry ramps have lower speeds than the main route.

Currently, vehicles can only travel to the National Highway 51 interchange and cannot directly transfer to the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway. The interchange connecting the two routes at Tan Hiep is temporarily not open, pending a conclusion from authorities regarding certain items.
The Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway, commenced in 2014, is nearly 58 km long, passing through Tay Ninh, southern Ho Chi Minh City, and Dong Nai. The project has a total adjusted investment of over 29,500 billion VND, featuring four lanes and two continuous emergency lanes, with a design speed of 100 km/h.
Once fully open, the expressway will allow vehicles from the Mekong Delta to reach Long Thanh without navigating multiple urban roads in Ho Chi Minh City, shortening the journey by over one hour and reducing traffic pressure on the city.
