According to the conclusion announcement by Provincial People's Committee Chairman Tran Phong regarding flood damage recovery on 29/11, individuals residing in rental homes within flooded areas, even without temporary residence registration, will receive one million VND per person.
This assistance amount is equivalent to the support provided to permanent residents. Recipients must have their status confirmed by the landlord and local neighborhood committee. The province has also approved one million VND per person in aid for households affected by landslides, similar to those struggling due to flooding. Local communes and wards are tasked with compiling statistics and submitting them to the Department of Finance for disbursement.

The Provincial Chairman urged local authorities to care for residents' livelihoods, preventing hunger, cold, or homelessness. They are also encouraged to mobilize temporary accommodation for households whose homes were swept away or collapsed. Previously, the province decided to provide 60 million VND for completely collapsed homes and 30 million VND for flooded homes, partially collapsed homes, or those with severe damage.
Khanh Hoa is among the most severely affected localities, reporting 22 deaths, 20 injuries, 105 collapsed homes, and 909 damaged homes. Many transportation, dike, healthcare, and education facilities were destroyed, with total damages exceeding 4,141 billion VND. The Politburo has assigned Ho Chi Minh City to provide financial aid, essential goods, and healthcare and education personnel to help the province in its recovery efforts.
