The incident impacted a cargo crane dock, an ice production facility, and a feed and aquatic medicine dealership.
Local authorities stated that the area remains at risk of further landslides, potentially an additional 20-30 meters, due to weak soil and river currents. Initial total damages are estimated at over 3 billion VND.
Following the incident, the Communal People's Committee (UBND) coordinated with police and militia to help residents relocate property, set up warning ropes and signs, and prohibit people and vehicles from entering the dangerous area.
