Around 3 p.m., a truck with a Ho Chi Minh City license plate, transporting aid goods northbound, collided with a car traveling in the same direction in Hang Gon commune and overturned.
As the driver awaited rescue, three vehicles behind—a container truck, a 16-seat van, and a 5-seat passenger car—were unable to react in time, causing a chain collision. Passengers in the 16-seat van panicked and screamed.
