The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting reports that the northern region will experience sunny weather with little rain this weekend, 7-8/9. Temperatures will range from 33-35 degrees Celsius, influenced by a low-pressure trough.

The first weak cold front of the season is forecast to impact the northern region from the afternoon and night of 9/9. This will bring showers and thunderstorms, dropping temperatures below 33 degrees Celsius on 9-10/9. The northern region will then become cooler, maintaining this cool weather until the end of the week.

Accuweather, a US weather site, forecasts Ha Noi's temperatures will be around 24-35 degrees Celsius until mid-next week, rising to 37-38 degrees Celsius by the weekend. High-altitude areas above 1,500 m, such as Sa Pa (Lao Cai), will see temperatures of 16-25 degrees Celsius early next week, falling to 14-20 degrees Celsius by the weekend.

In the central region, provinces and cities on the southern edge of the low-pressure trough will continue to experience afternoon and evening thunderstorms until 8/9. Heavy rainfall is expected from Quang Tri to eastern Quang Ngai.

From 8-9/9, rainfall will increase in the area from Thanh Hoa to Hue and along the South Central Coast. This is due to the formation of a tropical convergence zone combined with the influence of the early-season cold front. From 10-13/9, the central region is likely to experience widespread moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms.

The Central Highlands and southern region will see scattered showers and thunderstorms, primarily in the late afternoons and evenings, until 8/9. From 9-13/9, the southwest monsoon is expected to intensify, increasing rainfall in both regions. Many areas could experience heavy rain and strong thunderstorms. Temperatures in the Central Highlands will typically range from 27-30 degrees Celsius, while the southern region will see 31-33 degrees Celsius.

The meteorological agency notes the presence of low-pressure systems along the tropical convergence zone, which extends across the central East Sea (Bien Dong). These systems have the potential to develop into tropical depressions, bringing strong winds, high waves, and intense thunderstorms at sea next week.
