Northern Vietnam experienced intense cold and a severe chill from 22/1 to 24/1 due to a strong cold spell. Starting this morning, the cold air mass has weakened and shifted eastward, leading to rising temperatures, cloudy skies, and light rain.
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting announced that tomorrow, a weak reinforcement of the cold air mass will maintain light rain in the Northeast region. Temperatures will rise, but highs will remain below 20 degrees Celsius.

From late 30/1 into 31/1, Northern Vietnam will be affected by a new cold spell, bringing temperatures down.
The US-based Accuweather website forecasts Hanoi's temperatures next week to be between 16 and 24 degrees Celsius. High-altitude areas above 1,500 meters, such as Sapa (Lao Cai), will see temperatures ranging from 9 to 18 degrees Celsius.
In Central Vietnam, the Thanh Hoa - Ha Tinh area will experience cold rain tomorrow due to strengthened cold air. From 27/1, the cold air mass will weaken, bringing dry weather and more sunshine to Central Vietnam. The cold will only occur at night and in the morning in the Thanh Hoa - Hue area.
The Southern region and Central Highlands will have stable weather next week, with little rain at night and fog and light mist in the early mornings. The Central Highlands will experience a mild cold at night and early morning, with sunny days and high temperatures of 26-29 degrees. In the Southern region, night and morning temperatures will be 20-23 degrees, with daytime highs of 31-33 degrees.
