Since the beginning of the year, the Hope Foundation's "Anh sang hoc duong" (School Lights) program has initiated more than 50 educational projects across various localities. These projects, including classrooms, sanitation facilities, kitchens, libraries, and clean water systems, improve learning and living conditions for over 30,000 students, teachers, and local residents.
In Quang Lam commune, Cao Bang province, three kitchens at Thach Lam Kindergarten's Tac Tra, Khau Noong, and Nam Lech sites are entering their final construction phase. Equipment and cooking utensils will be installed soon.
Previously, kitchens at these locations were temporary structures made of corrugated iron or wood, some measuring less than 6 square meters. During the rainy season, water leaked into cooking areas; in summer, the cramped spaces became hot, impacting the preparation of semi-boarding meals for children.

In Ayun commune, Gia Lai province, Dak Jo Ta Kindergarten is constructing two new classrooms with private restrooms and several auxiliary facilities. The school serves over 150 students, mostly Bahnar ethnic children. Due to a shortage of classrooms, some classes previously met at a temporary site about two kilometers from the main school. After relocating to the main campus, students still had to study in the gymnasium.
Upon completion, the two new classrooms will enable the school to reorganize classes, reduce temporary learning arrangements, and provide additional restroom facilities for kindergarten students.
In addition to classrooms and kitchens, the Hope Foundation continues to implement its library model in schools lacking dedicated reading spaces. Following the first library at Tan Trao Secondary School in Tuyen Quang province, which serves nearly 400 students, the Foundation launched two more libraries at Van Thuy Primary & Secondary School in Lang Son province and Bang Lang Primary School in Lam Dong province.
At these schools, books are currently stored in storerooms or shared spaces, without a specific reading and research area for students.

Alongside school sanitation projects, the Hope Foundation implements clean water and community sanitation initiatives in Song Kon commune, Da Nang city. These projects include a water supply system and restroom facilities at the Guol house, a venue for community activities and local festivals. This facility incorporates a domestic wastewater treatment system to limit direct discharge into the environment.
Some educational institutions in the area also received RO water purifiers, providing clean drinking water for students and teachers at school. Ms. Tran Thi He, a teacher at Hoa Mi Kindergarten in K8 hamlet, shared that teachers previously had to transport water from the commune or use stream water.
"Since having the water purifier, I no longer have to carry water from the commune or use turbid stream water in the rainy season, or dry stream water in the dry season," Ms. He said.

According to the Hope Foundation, projects under the "Anh sang hoc duong" program are implemented based on the specific needs of each school. Starting with the first school site in 2018, the program has expanded to include various categories, aiming to improve learning, living, sanitation, and access to knowledge for students in disadvantaged regions.
These projects are carried out with the support of: FPT Group, UNIQLO Vietnam, Meta Group, Opella Vietnam, FPT People for Community Fund, VnExpress Newspaper, FPT Polytechnic, Volvo Vietnam, Future Launch Station, Home Credit Vietnam, Totto-chan Kindergarten, Nutifood, Pickup & Friends Club, Change The One, Minh Tri Thanh, FPT Japan, BW Industrial, along with VnExpress readers, the Give Now platform, Viettel Money, and MoMo Wallet users.
In the final months of the year, the "Anh sang hoc duong" program will continue to survey difficult areas in Lai Chau, Gia Lai, Tay Ninh, and other provinces to build new classrooms, renovate schools, upgrade sanitation facilities, and donate libraries.
