The ceremony was attended by General Secretary and President To Lam, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, and Permanent Member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu.
Also present were former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh, former President Luong Cuong, former Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, former Permanent Member of the Secretariat Tran Quoc Vuong, and leaders from central committees, ministries, agencies, and mass organizations.

A delegation from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, led by Chairwoman Bui Thi Minh Hoai, along with representatives from the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense, the Central Public Security Party Committee - Ministry of Public Security, Hanoi City leaders, and various agencies and organizations, laid wreaths and paid respects at President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. They also offered incense to commemorate heroic martyrs at the Memorial Monument on Bac Son street.
From early morning, a large number of people from various localities and international visitors queued at Ba Dinh Square to pay respects at the Mausoleum.
To assist elderly visitors and children during their wait, the Mausoleum Management Board collaborated with the Hanoi Department of Tourism to provide drinking water, bread, milk, and arrange strollers.
According to the Mausoleum Management Board, on 19/5, a total of 6,935 visitors, including 1,444 international guests, paid respects at President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. The unit also provided five strollers for elderly individuals and children and processed over 1,000 luggage deposits. Security and the overall organization of the visit were maintained safely.

On 17/5, in his article "Ho Chi Minh's Light Illuminates Our Path," published for President Ho Chi Minh's 136th birthday, General Secretary and President To Lam affirmed the enduring relevance of Ho Chi Minh's ideology. He stated that while the 14th Party Congress Document outlines the nation's new development trajectory, Ho Chi Minh's thought serves as the guiding light, empowering the nation to pursue this path with steadfast resolve, clear objectives, scientific methodologies, and profound trust in its people.
General Secretary and President To Lam further emphasized that Ho Chi Minh's ideology not only guided the nation to independence and reunification in the 20th century but also remains the ideological bedrock for safeguarding sovereignty, fostering innovation, implementing reforms, and achieving rapid, sustainable development in the 21st century. The President highlighted Ho Chi Minh's "people are the root" principle as a consistent theme in current policies, asserting that all reforms must be people-centric, with public satisfaction, trust, and happiness serving as key indicators of success.

In accordance with the Ordinance on the Management and Protection of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Relic Area, state-level visiting ceremonies are held on major national holidays, including: Lunar New Year, Party Founding Day (3/2), President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (19/5), National Day (2/9), and other significant political events.
President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is an integral part of the Ba Dinh historical and cultural complex, which also encompasses the Ho Chi Minh Relic Site and the Ho Chi Minh Museum. The Mausoleum welcomes visitors on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings each week.
