A representative from Noi Bai International Airport announced that Emirates has resumed its Hanoi - Dubai (UAE) route. On 5/3, flight EK394 from Dubai arrived in Hanoi with 427 passengers. In the opposite direction, the flight from Hanoi to Dubai departed on the evening of 5/3 with approximately 200 passengers.
On 4/3, Emirates operated a repatriation flight from Hanoi to Dubai, transporting citizens of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) back to their country.
Apart from Emirates, two other Middle Eastern airlines, Qatar Airways and Etihad Airways, have not yet resumed operations. On 5/3, Etihad Airways continued to cancel two pairs of commercial passenger flights to and from Hanoi, affecting 960 passengers.
From 4/3 to 6/3, Qatar Airways canceled 10 flights in Hanoi and TP HCM, affecting 2,052 passengers.

Due to airspace closures in several Middle Eastern countries, from 28/2 to 4/3, Middle Eastern airlines canceled 22 flights from Noi Bai, disrupting the travel plans of approximately 4,600 passengers. One Emirates aircraft and two Qatar Airways aircraft remained grounded at the airport due to cancellations.
Middle Eastern airlines have implemented support policies. For passengers with tickets for travel from 28/2 to 10/3, Qatar Airways offers free changes to departure dates within 14 days or a refund for the unused value of the ticket.
Etihad Airways applies a policy for passengers with tickets issued before 28/2, with travel until 10/3, allowing free changes to flights operated by the airline until 31/3. Passengers traveling on flights until 10/3 may also request a refund.
Emirates' policy allows affected passengers to rebook on another flight departing on or before 20/3, or to request a refund for tickets with travel on or before 10/3.
